19 November
GTA 6 comes out on Thursday 19 November 2026, and on PS5 in Ukraine it unlocks at 00:00 Kyiv time.
In other words, you can start playing on the night between Wednesday and Thursday. The date is the same on the Rockstar site, in Rockstar Store and in PS Store Ukraine.
Release date and Kyiv time
GTA VI launches on 19 November 2026.
On PS5 in Ukraine the game unlocks at 00:00 Kyiv time on 19 November.
| Event | PS5 | Xbox Series X|S |
|---|---|---|
| Pre-load | 10 November, local midnight | 10 November, 02:00 Kyiv time |
| Boxed code | from 12 November | from 12 November |
| Launch in Ukraine | 19 November, 00:00 Kyiv time | no time listed for Ukraine |
What happens before launch
Pre-load starts on 10 November: at local midnight on PS5 and at 02:00 Kyiv time on Xbox.
You can download the files in advance, but the game will not start before launch. To see how much space to free up, go to how big is GTA 6.
The physical version is a code in a box with no disc. It goes on sale from 12 November, Standard Edition only.
What about Xbox
On Xbox, Rockstar promises a local-midnight launch, but no specific time is listed for Ukraine.
So do not count on 00:00. Xbox times are set store by store and differ between countries. If Rockstar or Microsoft confirm a time for Ukraine, we will add it here.
Could it be delayed again
As of 6 November the date stands: on 5 November Rockstar again named 19 November.
The date moved twice: from autumn 2025 to 26 May 2026, then to 19 November 2026.
The next checkpoint is the Take-Two report on 9 November. If the date changes, you will see it on the what changed page.
What is still unknown
Rockstar has not officially announced that the game has gone gold.
That does not affect the date, which Rockstar confirmed separately.
